Urea
The local market remained reasonably quiet with some demand arising in anticipation of the latest Indian tender and Iranian production issues. However, there is said to be sufficient supply in the country to meet this demand.
Granular urea was last assessed at A$760-770/t fca Geelong.
There is only one urea vessel in transit to Australia carrying 23,400t, vessel tracking data from Kpler shows.

Phosphates
Local buying has increased slightly and there was an increase in contracting activity for MAP/DAP in the lead-up to Christmas.
Local demand may further increase after other prominent markets such as Brazil start to buy more tonnes, participants say.
There is 198,500t of MAP/DAP in transit to Australia across four vessels, vessel tracking data from Kpler show.
