As input to the GRDC Strategic Plan Discussion Paper, our member survey showed:
- Strong support for RD&E activities which create enduring profitability;
- Growers want research priorities as 1. yield, 2. price, 3. reducing costs, 4. risk management; and
- Growers want close to a 50/50 balance between incremental and transformational research outcomes.
There is close to a billion dollars to be invested in RD&E over the next 5 years.
