With growers entering into planting season, key farm input providers and bulk handlers would like to provide GrainGrowers’ members with an update on their supply chains and provision of product.

The report has responses from:

  • Viterra
  • Nufarm
  • FMC Australia
  • Bayer Australia
  • Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia
  • CaseIH Australia
  • Australian Agricultural Contractors Association
  • Animal Control Technologies Australia

Key message for growers across the industry is that pressure on the supply chain due to COVID and the conflict in Ukraine has led to shipping delays and increased costs, and may result in constraints when accessing key inputs for some suppliers.

Growers are encouraged to consider their needs be they agvet chemicals, fertiliser or machinery parts, and be in contact with your local retailer. We thank all in the grains supply chain for their ongoing provision of these essential services.
