GrainGrowers has passed on some grower queries and EY has provided the following information:
Agrium Asia Pacific (International) (AAPI) (formerly known as AWB International Ltd (AWBI)) is expected to receive approximately US$50 million from Iraq by AAPI by 2028 for distribution to eligible growers. AAPI receives six-monthly payments of approximately US$1.5 million.
EY’s intention is that the maximum amount of funds available for each distribution be distributed to the appropriate payees and we welcome opportunities to reach out to as many eligible beneficiary growers as possible.
