Zoe Walker is not your average jillaroo. Growing up in the city, Zoe had to make her own way into the agricultural industry. While also fighting for her foothold, Zoe suffered a catastrophic horse-riding industry that left her with a broken back, along with other injuries that might have deterred a less-determined spirit. Zoe however persevered and has gone on to pave the way for young people like herself, through an online social media platform Young Aussie Farmers. The group has over 4000 members and 150,000 people have “liked” posts. Zoe’s social media pages are dedicated towards supporting and encouraging young Aussies to become a part of the Australian Agricultural Industry
