2017 Western Region National Policy Group Election
Western Region NOMINATIONS FOR NPG now open
Develop, review and endorse GrainGrowers' National Policies.
Are you a GrainGrowers member keen to play your part in developing a more efficient, profitable and sustainable grains industry?
GrainGrowers' National Policy Group (NPG) helps drive national industry and government policy. Members are encouraged to put their hands up to represent grain farmers in their region and across Australia in setting future policy direction.
The NPG is made up of 15 growers from the three major grain growing regions in Australia - Western Region (SA and WA), Southern Region (Southern NSW, Vic and Tas) and the Northern Region (northern NSW, Qld and NT).
The NPG meets several times a year in person and regularly by teleconference to debate the important issues affecting grains farming businesses and the industry.
Nominations for the five positions representing the Western Region are now open. All GrainGrowers members in South Australia and Western Australia are eligible to nominate. But be quick! Nominations close at 5 pm (AWST) 10 November.
Should there be more than five nominations for the available positions, an election will be held, run independently by LINK Market Services.
