How modern ag can engage in a digital world - live-streamed at Innovation Generation

GrainGrowers’ annual Innovation Generation conference next week (3-5 July) at the Adelaide Convention Centre will be more accessible than ever this year with live-streamed highlights of presentations and interviews with speakers and delegates to be shown throughout the conference via social media.

Heidi Wright, Social Media Strategist from Wright Social, South Australia, will be interviewing three informative grain growers ‘live’ about the opportunities and challenges presented by digital technology in agriculture.

Interviews will be held as part of a Live Video Workshop, aimed at increasing the understanding of the medium among grain growers and agricultural professionals - and demonstrating the benefits to their farming businesses.

Interviews will be live-streamed from approximately 3.15 pm next Monday 3 July through Innovation Generation’s Twitter account: @InnovGeneration (#IG17).

On the program will be:

  • 3.15 pm* - Brett Hosking, GrainGrowers Board Director and Vice President of the Victorian Farmers Federation – who will discuss how the digital technology currently available to rural and regional Australians is proving both a benefit and a hindrance, in farm businesses and in Brett’s role of promoting the needs of farmers to government and the community.
