Australian Wheat Promotion
The Brand
GrainGrowers has developed a generic Australian wheat brand as a key deliverable of the What the World Wants from Australian Wheat project, with its elements crafted in response to the recommendations set out in the Executive Summary of the What The World Wants From Australian Wheat Stakeholders Report 2011. The Australian wheat brand will provide a national umbrella under which international promotion of Australian wheat can occur to build a consistent message around wheat in our key international markets.
As part of a broader and longer term communications plan, the brand will be used to promote the ongoing development and improvement of Australia's wheat grades, provide a mechanism to deal with market-specific issues in a consistent manner and provide technical market information to our key customers on the production and quality of Australian wheat throughout the growing and harvest windows.
Through this, the brand will build confidence in and a better understanding of, Australian wheat and its uses with existing and potential buyers and key markets, and position Australian wheat as the best and safest in the international marketplace, driving an increase in Australia's overall value share.

Australian Wheat Guide

The Australian Wheat Guide will provide a description of the major wheat grades. The wheat guide will be provided as a brochure style document to support the Australian wheat promotion program. The guide will describe the essential elements of each wheat class/ grade to assist the understanding of wheat buyers. The guide will be supplied to all potential buyers of Australian wheat.
Australian Wheat Page
The Australian Wheat Page provides a monthly report on Australian wheat. The Australian Wheat Page is a response to customer requests and will form part of the global wheat promotion program.
The Page will provide a national summary of weather for the past month and a forecast for the next 3 months as well as crop production summary for wheat.
