Australian Universities Crops Competition

The Australian Universities Crops Competition (AUCC) began in 2008 to assist the agricultural industry attract and increase the number of skilled graduates entering the industry.

The AUCC is one of several Capacity Building programs that GrainGrowers invests in to engage and develop future generations of Australian agriculture.

The objectives of the AUCC are to:

  • Improve the technical knowledge and practical skill development of university undergraduates;
  • Recognise and reward agricultural students and universities for their engagement with and dedication to the Australian agricultural industry; and
  • Increase the connectivity and engagement between Universities and the Australian agricultural industry.
